Kent Thomas Kowalik

Kent Thomas Kowalik, 53, of Indianapolis, passed away on December3, 2019 at University Hospital in Indianapolis after a courageous battle with cancer. Kent was born on January 23, 1966 in Orange, California to the late Thomas J. & Charlotte (Pieper) Kowalik.

An intelligent man, Kent graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree. After graduation, Kent pursued a career in real estate development. Kent was known for his love of music and ability to play multiple instruments; some of his favorites including the piano and the guitar. Kent also enjoyed jogging, snow skiing, and financial investing. Kent will be missed by his family and friends.

Along with his parents, Kent is preceded in death by a nephew, Colin Kraus.

Survivors include his siblings, Jeff (Cindy) Kowalik of Cape Coral, Florida and Kerri Kraus of Greenwood; and nephews, Kent (fiancée, Stephanie) Kraus of Indianapolis and Kyle Kraus of Houston, Texas.
