Heaven gained an Angel.
Larry, You have touched many lives and I can’t begin to express the sadness we have for the loss of your kind heart and giving, loving soul. I will miss your funny stories( some I could never repeat) and the warmth that come with your smile. A good man always smiling, even when complaining about the awful food at that place where you were finishing out your days. I really enjoyed bringing you your favorites… orange slices and can coke, although it seems so small in comparison to the sacrifices you made for so many others throughout your life. You always went out of your way to help others, including me. I thank you so much for your kind heart. I find comfort in knowing that you were rewarded with an amazing set of wings… Fly high Larry… As I know without a doubt, you were an angel bound to this earth until God blessed you with wings to fly. You will be so very missed. Rest in peace Larry, We love u!

Larry was one of my first supervisors when I started working for the county in 1976, We worked together for almost 5 years. He was a good man, good to work with and for. we were pleased to have him able to join us at our retiree’s summer picnic this past June. Rest in Peace old warrior you have paid your dues.
Larry meant a lot to me. I loved spending time with him and hearing stories of his career of being a cop. I could tell that he was very passionate about being a cop and he had a heart of gold. I could also tell that he adores his family. He always asked about my family and managed to put a smile on his face even on days when he wasn’t feeling well. He knew how to put a smile on my face and I looked forward to seeing him everyday at work. I will miss seeing his face, but am glad that he is not in pain anymore. God bless you, Larry!
