  1. Janet I’m so sorry. We had some good times and get togethers. At my house, Link Belt and Alverno. Keep your chin up. Regards Larry Stevenson

  2. Larry was a fine gentle person who loved his family and friends. His personality and smile always made you feel good when around him. Losing a man and a classmate is so very sad. He was a warrior in life and it was my honor to call him a Dear classmate. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. R.I.P.

  3. Larry and Janet were my neighbors. One could not help but love both of them. So giving and caring. We became great friends and stayed in contact after I moved. He would email me jokes, loved stumping me. We have had conversations about the Gospel, our Faith and our Heavenly Father, whom Larry is now with. I will miss you dear friend.

  4. My heart felt condolences to Larry T’s family. I worked and played with “T” when we both worked at Alverno. He was a great guy who was always nice and considerate to everyone. I know I tried his patience a few times. I was shocked and so sorry to hear the news of his passing. He was a friend and a buddy. “El Ropo” (those nasty cigars he smoked) was a good teammate on the Aces softball team and scraped a lot of skin off of those beautiful knees. God speed Larry “T” Taylor, may you rest in peace. Respectfully, Dave Frye.

  5. I am so sad to hear of Larry passing. My thoughts are with Janet and the family. I have many great fun memories with Larry back in the 60’s , 70’s , and 80’s. Dinners and movies were regular outings with Larry and Janet. Family get togethers playing ping pong or board games. All of us went together to see the first Star Wars movie when the kids were little. I always had good fun with Larry. My heartfelt condolences. John Fry

  6. Larry supported me while I managed the data center for Indiana National Bank. He was the best you could ask for, and we were greatly saddened when he had to retire due to health. I moved from Indy and lost track of him, but we reconnected 15 years ago when my daughter brought a young man named Jim Taylor to my home in Atlanta, announcing their intention to marry. No one knew of my connection with Larry. Suffice it to say, the last 15 years was a gift to me, to be able to spend time with someone so positive, kind, and seemingly oblivious to the obstacles health placed on him as he always found a way to overcome. Anyone who knew Larry will miss him dearly, but we all are better off having known him. I never knew you could cry and smile at the same time, but that is where I am.

  7. To Steve and the entire Taylor Family: Please accept our condolences and count on our prayers. John and Deb Madden

  8. Larry is without a doubt the sweetest, kindest man I ever met , many great memories with Larry, Janet and the kids. He will be missed by anyone who ever had him in their life. I never saw a love like Larry and Janet had and since they were teenagers. Praying for all of you LaDonna Fry

  9. The best friend and co-worker anyone could have. I was so blessed to have Larry riding shotgun with me during our days at Memorex, and Amdahl. I have so many great memories of Larry’s wit and passion for getting stuff done the right way for our customers. Prayers of strength and courage for Janet and the family as you begin a new chapter in life.

  10. At family holidays, weddings, and picnics, I always enjoyed Uncle Larry’s stories. His smile was contagious, jokes were priceless, and his dedication to family humbling. I really enjoyed my one on one time spent with him at these special family events over the years.

  11. Larry and Janet was the purchaser of the first home I ever sold as a real estate agent in 1971. I had just started as a broker for the FC Tucker Realtors at their Turtle Creek Southside office. I believe they were referred to me by my daughter-in-law Janie Hardesty Wheeler, Janet’s sister (our son Dan’s wife). They were very attentive to the details I spelled out to them as first time home buyers which at that time was very difficult to get approved for a low down payment loan if the applicant had little or no credit history…they were quite young so it was tough but we worked together and got the job done. I have never forgotten them in their determination to buy that house…I have always looked upon them as my inspiration to succeed and how to go about doing so. Janet, the love you and Larry shared since you were young teenagers will be with you always, may he rest in piece.

  12. I consider Larry to be one of my favorite people. He was a very loyal friend and member of my BSF group for the last 3 years. I thank God that I was able to spend a few hours with him, on Tuesday. I will, truly miss him and his humor. I am praying for Janet, Pat and all of the family. Your friend in Christ, Doug Staley

  13. Cindy and I are so sorry to read about Larry’s passing. He was a really great guy. We played basketball together at Burkhart but my best memory was being at bible study fellowship together. We pray Gods comfort and peace for you in the coming days.

  14. What a beautiful memory of a very Christian man. I grew up with the Taylor family at st roch. How great it is for u to know that he is now rewarded for a life well lived. God bless ur family. God is good. ߙmk

  15. I worked for “T” at Alverno and was a classmate at IUPUI. We occasionally played racquetball, although he was a lot better than me. And we both fought brain tumors. He was responsible for my getting into mainframe software. I’ll never forget opening my desk drawer to find he had used it as a cigar ashtray. When Larry was at Amdahl he provided a reference for my getting hired at Ameritech. He was a great boss and a wonderful human being. His knowledge, sense of humor, and compassion will always be appreciated. My condolences to his family on their loss.

  16. I am so sorry to learn of Larry’s passing whom I met through Pat at Bible Study Fellowship. He was a very sweet man. Thank God that Jesus Christ calls his own, those who have given their life in faith to him, to reside with him forever.

  17. I am sorry to hear of Larry’s unexpected passing. Larry was a class act! I know that many folks will be greatly missing him. I always loved Larry’s wry sense of humor. I can still see how he would get a boyish grin on his face as he would launch into a good joke. May God bless him in Heaven, and his family here on earth as they deal with their loss.

  18. We are praying for your family as you mourn the loss of Larry. May you feel God’s comforting arms around you. Johnny and Diane Morris

  19. I feel so blessed to have known Larry. He was a wonderful person in all ways. May God give comfort to Janet during this difficult time. With my deepest heartfelt sympathy, Pat Backer

  20. Pat and family, I am so sorry for you loss. You are all in my prayers. I remember your Dad from our St. Mark days and he was always so kind. Deepest Sympathy, Eileen Mullin Dietz

  21. It was such a blessing to have known Larry. He was so sweet, funny and was always smiling. My favorite memory is when Jim married my sister Laurie. At their reception I asked Larry to dance and without hesitation he did. Our prayers and love for Janet, Jim, Pat and all the family. May the beautiful memories you have of Larry be forever in your hearts.
