Leonard R. "Lenny" Austin

Leonard R. “Lenny” Austin, 59, lifelong Indianapolis resident, passed away peacefully at home June 21st, 2021. Lenny was born 13, 1962, in Indianapolis, to the late Ronald Austin and Yvonne (Dantic) Austin.

He graduated from Franklin Central High School. An accomplished carpenter who worked through out the years with various companies. Lenny also loved to paint and draw. He was a member of the White River Yacht Club where he enjoyed spending time with many friends. Lenny never met a stranger and will be fondly remembered for his kind and generous nature. Simply put – giving brought Lenny significant joy. His memory will forever be cherished by loving family and friends. It’s hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember.

Survivors include his siblings, Cathie Austin-Marks (Alan), Cyndi Austin (Rob Orsini), and Ron Austin; niece, Taylor Austin; nephew Jay Austin.

A Celebration of Lenny’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 26th, 3:00pm to 6:00pm, at the White River Yacht Club, 1400 E. 74th Street, Indianapolis.
