Lisa M. Griesemer, of Indianapolis, Passed away surrounded by the family she loved so deeply, A devoted Catholic and member of St. Jude Parish, Lisa lived her faith quietly but sincerely. Her life was defined by kindness, generosity, and the way she made every person feel cared for and welcomed.
Lisa’s greatest joy and proudest role was being the mother of her beloved daughter, Caroline Griesemer. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising Caroline, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering love. This was the role she cherished most.
Lisa also poured her heart into her community. She was an active participant and officer in Girls Inc., where she encouraged young girls to grow with confidence, curiosity, and strength. She volunteered in school and church projects, supported community fundraisers, and was always the first to offer a helping hand.
Lisa is survived by her daughter, Caroline; her former husband, Ron Griesemer; her mother, Carolyn Meisberger; and her siblings Thomas Meisberger, Linda Arthur (Kenny), and Martin Meisberger (Stacy).
She is lovingly remembered by her niece and nephews: Lindsey Arthur, Austin Arthur, and Alex Arthur, Nathan Meisberger (Jamie), Jacob Meisberger, Andrew Meisberger, as well as her great-nephew, Benjamin Meisberger. Each of them brought her immense pride and joy.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Richard Meisberger.
Lisa will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her warm smile, and the way she made every space brighter simply by being in it. May she rest in the peace of Christ, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2026, 6 to 8 p.m., at the O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in St. Jude Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
