I and my family feel your loss deeply. Lois and Norb were long time friends, the best kind. Lois helped me through some very rough times, and we laughed together more often than not. I have so many “Lois” stories, can’t begin to tell them all. I felt like part of the family for so many years, and only hope I returned those feelings ten fold. RIP with Norb my friend.
Lois or Mrs. Holzer, to me, was such a wonderful memory of my childhood. My first memories of her were around 4 years old. We would get to “go play” at the Holzers. This was such a treat. This tradition went on all through my childhood. The Holzer home became a second home to me even when they moved to Noblesville. Mrs. Holzer always cherished me. We would all sit in the living room telling stories. She always liked to hear my stories and she thought I was hilariously funny. My own family really didn’t appreciate my humor as much as Lois did. Lois was always so much fun to be around. She often let herself be the bud of the joke for the enjoyment of everyone else. I will always remember the love, support and fun that she provided me through the years. I do wish that I could of seen her one last time, but that just didn’t happen. I know she is happy now in heaven with her dear husband, Norb and all of her St. Lawrence friends. I hope to see her there myself when my time comes. But until then, thank you, Mrs. Holzer for the memories!!
