Lyla Rainbow Beiswenger

Lyla Rainbow Beiswenger entered into eternal life on September 17, 2017. She was born to her loving parents, Rob and Crystal (Sullivan) Beiswenger. She was also welcomed by her big sisters, Samantha and Celeste. Additional survivors include maternal grandparents, Karen and Steve Sullivan; paternal grandfather, Bob Beiswenger; great grandparents, Mary Beiswenger and Ed Wilson; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister Hope Beiswenger and grandmother, Cathy Beiswenger.

A memorial celebration to honor Lyla Rainbow and to give back to children who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017, 5 to 7 p.m., in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. A brief Christian Rite and balloon release will follow at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers or other supportive gestures, the Beiswengers hope for all offerings to be in the form of donated toys, children’s clothing, bedding and books to remember Lyla. These items will be gathered on Thursday at the funeral home, and the family will donate them to the Hurricane victims. In an effort to make this celebration as uplifting as possible, you are encouraged to dress casually, in your favorite colorful attire.

  1. I am so sorry to hear of the death of Lyla. The passing away of a loved one is always with much sorrow. May we have faith and confidence in the Bible’s promise of a time when pain, sickness and death are a thing of the past (Revelation 21:3, 4). My condolences are with the family at this difficult time.
