Margaret Mary Hagner

Margaret Mary Hagner, 88,Indianapolis, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on February 24, 1928 to Walter F. and Coletta Shick Thornbury. Margaret had been a materials expediter at General Electric, a personal shopper at L.S. Ayres, a secretary at Indiana Central College (UINDY), and the owner and operator of the Paper Caper. Margaret is survived by her husband, Herman “Bud” Hagner; son, Joseph Hagner; daughter, Andrea Schultz (Mark); grandchildren, Andrew Hagner, Ann Metzger, Amber Schultz; great grandchild, Alex Metzger; sisters, Betty Roth, Coletta Valentine; brother, Art Thornbury. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim, Walter and Tony Thornbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. in St. Jude Catholic Church with visitation at the church on Saturday beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
