To all of my Schutz cousins: Aunt Mary was a remarkable woman who showed all of us cousins courage in times of tragedy, strength in times of challenge, and elegance always. She lives on through her wonderful family, who walked so closely with her these last months. As the last remaining of her siblings, she was the keeper of the family stories and memories and faith. As the only daughter among five siblings, her four brothers adored her for her beauty and many gifts and accomplishments. Although she would say that raising her family was the most important and most rewarding experience in life, her love of all things Purdue comes in a pretty close second. We are grateful to have had you in our lives and wish you godspeed to your dear ones, gone before, whose open arms will lead you into paradise.
