Noriko Kato Stahl

December 5, 1973 ~ March 11, 2024
Noriko Kato Stahl, 50, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2024, at home. Noriko was born in Hiroshima, Japan on December 5, 1973, to Hisanori & Ikuko Kato, who survive. Noriko was loving, caring and giving. At times Noriko was shy, but always humble. She was kind and cared for others like they were her family. She enjoyed helping others and spent much of her career in marketing and translating the Japanese language. Being the single mother of Dillon & Sean, she put her boys first before all else. Noriko was immersed in her Japanese Culture and made sure her boys were well versed in the English language as well as making sure that they could speak fluent Japanese. She loved to travel with her sons and spent every summer break with them in Japan. Dillon & Sean would continue their education during this time going to school in Hiroshima. Noriko was passionate about preparing her sons for anything and everything that they may encounter in the future.
Along with her parents, Noriko is survived by her sons; Dillon Stahl & Sean Stahl, brother; Kenichi Kato, father and mother-in-law; Gerald & Paula Stahl and father of Dillion & Sean; Daniel Stahl.

Noriko will be deeply missed. She was an amazing mom to her boys, a hard worker, and a sweet friend to many. When our kids were young we spent much time together on play dates and I will always cherish those memories with her and the kids. Noriko was so special and my life is forever better having known her.

Noriko was such a special lady and I’m grateful that I got the chance to know her. She was always so kind and had a fun loving, joyful spirit. Dillon, I’ll always hold dear to my heart the memory I have of you and your mom coming over for dinner that one night, we had such a good time. I loved hearing her talk about growing up in Japan. Peace and love to you and Sean.
