  1. I’m so sorry to learn of Oliver’s passing. Mr. Peper, as we called him at Central Library, was a frequent visitor to the library, and I came to know him well. We had many interesting and funny discussions when he visited the library. I enjoyed hearing about his many travels – he was a great storyteller!
    He will be missed.

  2. I worked with “Peper”, that’s what we called him, at Spradling Auto Parts in the early-mid ‘70’s. My late father, George Spradling, owned the company and I spent many hours working with Peper at the Ritter Avenue store. Peper was fun to work around, with his quick wit and sense of humor. I know he was a valuable employee at Spradling Auto Parts. Rest In Peace Peper.
