So sorry for the loss of a great neighbor. Rick, you will be missed. Scott and Marty Doty
Rick grew up with me in Worthington. He was the best first baseman Worthington ever had. He taught me how to wrestle when he was a high school freshman and coached our 7-8 th grade team to an all-area championship. I also played Beckman football with him. He was a great all around athlete! But more importantly he was a great guy! A Worthington Great! I’ll miss ya Rick! Joe Burger
Thank you for your kind words, Joe. I didn’t know about his coaching your team. That was a nice thing to learn. Jeanne and family.
I knew Rick through his sister Judy Gobeli. I always enjoyed seeing him and I am sad to hear of his passing. Sending his family love and light. Peg Hammerly
I was saddened to see this. I hired Rick in Dubuque before he and Jean were married these many years ago. We had lots of laughs and tears. My thoughts and prayers are with Jean and her family. Patricia Haus
Jean, Laura, and Michelle, so sorry for your loss. I don’t know if you remember me from when you would visit Ruth and Clem–I was one of the Kamp kids next door. We were always so excited when you came with the girls and especially if Ben and Gabe were there. So nice of you to give back to Worthington with the memorial. Condolences from our entire family.
Oh, Pat, how wonderful to hear from you. Thank you.
Thank you, Kelly. Please give your family our best.
Jeanne. Betty and I are sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. I have great memories of Rick – from being neighbors in Worthington and playing baseball together – to being wrestling teammates at Beckman and becoming co-captains our senior year. He was a good friend and will be missed.
I was so saddened to read of Rick’s passing. We worked together in insurance claims for many years. He was such a gentleman and would melt your heart with that big smile. I pray that his family and friends will find joy in the many memories you have of his love for you.
Thank you for your kind words, Carol. It is nice to hear from you. Jeanne and family
I am so sorry to hear of the death of Rick. The passing away of a loved one is always with much sorrow. May we have faith and confidence in the Bible’s promise of a time when pain, sickness and death are a thing of the past (Revelation 21:3, 4). My condolences are with the family at this difficult time.
