Rita M. Weisenbach Jolley

Rita M. Weisenbach Jolley, 93, Indianapolis, passed away after a long, full life September 23, 2021. Rita was born August 2, 1928, in Liberty, Indiana, to the late Albert and Frances (Pflum) DeRegnaucourt.

She graduated from Milton High School in 1946 and from St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1949. Rita was Dr. Robert Dicks’ charge nurse and retired from Southside Family Physicians, where she was employed for 22 years. While her professional career was fulfilling and rewarding, Rita was the mother of 10 children, and referred to this vocation as her mission in life. She was a devout Catholic and enjoyed singing in various church choirs as life took her to parishes in Lebanon, Indiana, Indianapolis, California, and Florida. Rita also loved to travel and was fortunate to have traveled the world. She always stayed busy as an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels, at various hospitals, and even during her later years at Greenwood Village, where she enjoyed forming a rosary and prayer group. Simply put – Rita was the ultimate wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose memory will be forever cherished by her loving family and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Herman A. Park, Robert J. Weisenbach, and Jack W. Jolley; son, Pete Park; grandchildren, Megan Weisenbach and Jeff Poynter.
