Robert E. McCallaham

Robert E. “Bobby,” “Nick” McCallaham, 61, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 17, 2018. Born in Baldwin, Michigan on October 27, 1956, Bobby, as he was known to his family, was the son of the late Chester McCallaham and Marilyn (Avery) Kisser; his mother survives and resides in Michigan.

Nick, as he was known to his friends, proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1980. He was currently working as a manager for Circle K Gas Stations.

In 2004, his significant other, Kevin Tressler preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Marilyn; his daughter, Kathryn “Kate” McCallaham of Indianapolis; two step children, Randell Davis of Richmond, Indiana and Heather D. Davis of Indianapolis; his siblings, Sharon Evans, David McCallahan, Carol Tiabl, Nancy McCallahan, Bonita Foust, Mary Beth Frizzell, Kelly Hudson, and Sandy Venezia; his significant other, Joshua Grey; and his fur baby, Maddie.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Nick McCallaham from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018 in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street (U.S. Hwy. 31 S.), Indianapolis. The memorial service will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with full military honors provided by the United States Air Force.
