Robert F. Scheid
65, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on July 31, 2026. Robert was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on July 11, 1961, to the late Robert & Michael Scheid. Robert held several jobs, including being a trucker and a mover.

His life’s passion was fishing and he devoted many years out on the
sea. He had many ocean related tattoos to show for it, taking the sea with him wherever he went.

Robert was always cracking jokes to his friends and family, filling the room with laughter. He could tell jokes anywhere from funny movie quotes to dad jokes. He also loved listening to music, often listening to Led Zeppelin, KISS, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, and many artists in between. In his spare time you could also find him watching TV. He enjoyed watching old TV shows and movies, along with football, he was a very big Eagles fan.

Robert is survived by his wife of 26 years; Sherrilynn Scheid, daughters; Evelyn Grondski, and Madison (Abraham Lehmkuhler) Scheid, and granddaughter; Lilly Rose Grondski.
Robert will be missed by his family and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at O’Riley-Branson  Funeral Service & Crematory (6107 S. East St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46227) from
1:00pm-3:00pm. No formal services will be held.
