Ronald L. Abney

Ronald Lee Abney, 72, Indianapolis, passed away March 25, 2020. Mr. Abney was born July 14, 1947, in Beech Grove to the late Henry and Mary (Wyrick) Abney.

He graduated from Southport High School and proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Ron also enjoyed shopping online and looking for deals he could not pass by. He will be fondly remembered by his loving family.

Survivors include his children, Laura (Mike) Cochran, Debbie Snider, Eddie Kindred, and Tracy Kindred; grandson, Joshua Kindred (Kristin Calvert) and Ronnie Ellis; a brother, Don Abney; sister, Marie Casteel; great grandson, Chase Kindred; niece, Nancy Hill.

Private family services will be held at a later date. O’Riley Funeral Home is serving the family.
