Rose Mary Richart

Rose Mary Richart, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 2, 2018. Born in Toledo, Ohio on November 2, 1939, Rose was the daughter of the late Eugene P. and Othilia (Noe) Davis. On November 19, 1960 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Larry A. Richart and he survives.
Rose was a graduate of St. Mary Academy in Indianapolis and a faithful member of St. Mark Catholic Church. She enjoyed her role as a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother and was known for her excellent cooking skills.
Along with her parents, Rose is also preceded in death by four infant children, and her sister, Rita M. Hufford.
Other survivors include her son, Mark L. (Julie) Richart; three daughters, Michelle D. Richart, Jennifer D. (Robert) Jones, and Angela M. (Timothy) Runholt; three brothers, James E. Davis; Richard W. (Debbie) Davis, and Larry P. (Sharon) Davis; two sisters, Jane O. Davis, and Carol A. (Don) Van Camp; and her seven grandchildren, Ashley, Caroline, Allison, Matthew, Michael, Aaron, and Samuel.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Rose Mary Richart from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. Morning prayers will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the funeral home with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Mark Catholic Church.
