Rosemary Mackell

Rosemary Mackell: July 8, 1928 – October 24, 2017.

Rosemary Mackell was born in Muncie, IN and lived most of her life in Indianapolis, attending Saints Peter and Paul grade school and St. Agnes High School. She went on to attend St. Vincent School of Nursing, later working at St. Francis Hospital for over twenty years.

Rosemary was also a devoted and loving wife and mother, marrying John Mackell in 1951 at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral. Rosemary was blessed with five children: Thomas Mackell, Paul Mackell, Ann Wellington, Joe Mackell, and Kathy Taylor. Rosemary was later blessed with seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The viewing will be held at the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S East St., Indianapolis, 46227, on Friday October 27th from 4-8 PM. Morning prayers will begin at 9:30 am on Saturday October 28th at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Barnabas Parish, 8300 Rhake Rd., Indianapolis 46217, on Saturday October 28th at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
