Sophrona Myrtle Gudat, 89, Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017. She was born in Paintsville, KY on July 2, 1927 to Earl C. and Lena Caudill Daniel. Myrtle worked as a waitress at Morgans Restaurant and St. Moritz Restaurant. She also worked at Aero Drapery. Myrtle was a member of Beech Grove First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Gudat and is survived by her children, Linda Rider (Tom Jones), Carter W. “Bud” Fulp (Kathy), and Connie Fulp; grandchildren, Karl Rider (Sue), Kerri Chakroff (Chris), Kirk Rider (Nelda), Michael Fulp (Jessie); 2 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and her aunt, Zona Songer. Visitation will be held at Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Online condolences may be shared with the family at orileyfuneralhome.com.

Myrtle you will be greatly missed! It saddens me to know when I walk through those doors Saturday that you will not be there. I won’t get to see you sitting there eating your candy and suckin on those suckers. You will not be forgotten. To the family, I offer my condolences!
