  6. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Tom for a short time at Eli Lilly at the very end of his career where we shared an office for a couple of months. I was new to the job and Tom shared his tremendous wealth of knowledge with me and many other younger employees. He was always the professional and did everything “by the book” and willing to help me learn what I needed to be successful. He was a great mentor and served as an example for me to try and emulate. Later in my career, I tried to be like him and pass my knowledge on to others as he did to me. A truly special man that I and many of his former colleagues remember fondly and with the greatest respect.
