Waverly Thomas, 93, Indianapolis, passed away January 27, 2021. Mrs. Thomas was born October 9, 1927, in Metamora, Illinois, to the late Michael Peter and Sophie (Anablough) Klein.
She worked as the manager of Troy Plaza Apartments from 1979 until her retirement. Waverly was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry S. Thomas. She is survived by one son, Michael John Thomas and several close friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2021, 10 – 11 a.m., at the O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street. Service will follow at 11 a.m., with burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visit www.ORileyFuneralHome.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
