Mr. Bevan was an amazing substitute teacher. He knew how to talk with the students and always made us laugh. His words of wisdom will be forever remembered. Rest Easy Mr. B ❤️ Thoughts going out to his family and friends. Once a Crusader, always a Crusader!
I had the great pleasure of spending many lake days with Bill and Sheryl at at the lake! I think one of my favorite memories was when Bill was helping us work on some dock issues and the non swimmer fell in the lake! I will always remember the look on his face as we fished him out! I think it was the only time I ever saw him wet! I cherish all those memories and the time we all spent together. Bill you will be missed by many and my heart goes out to Sheryl, Danny and all who loved you.
Condolences to Sheryl and Dani. Bill was a good friend to work with at Allstate with great memories and will truly be missed. Terra Soukup Wilson
Uncle Bill – thank you for being the best Babysitter, Santa, Uncle, and Godfather! I hope you’re celebrating in heaven with Grandpa & Grandma. ߒߘ
He called bingo numbers for some of our church’s activities He was always a joker Lynnette Noeske
When I think of Uncle Bill, I think of three things: Scecina High School, Indiana Pacers, and Santa Claus. Bill was so committed to Scecina, and man did he love his Pacers. Bill touched many lives through his work at Scecina and with the Pacers. My fondest memories are from Christmas as Uncle Bill always put on the red suit and entertained the kids and the adults too. I’ll have a blue Christmas without you Uncle Bill. Thank you for the incredible memories ߒٰߒ۰ߏ0ߎŰߘ͢ݤ️
Our sympathy to Sheryl and Dani. Bill was a good, kind hearted neighbor and friend, I’ll miss sharing a joke with him, his smile and laughter… “May God bless and keep you always, may your dreams always come true. May you always do for others and let others do for you. May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung and may you stay… Forever Young”.
Bill will be so sadly missed. He was so much fun to be around and such a special all around guy! Condolences to Sheryl and RIP Bill. Hugs sent to you in heaven!

There was not a time in my life when I (Angie) did not know Bill. The memories are fond and full of fun. A few: Butterscotches, bike, and the clapper when we visited him with the Mayor and Mrs. at 12th and Riley. Pacers and Crusaders. Stats. Shooting baskets in Scecina’s gym, jokes and jokes and jokes. His wedding, and the day he and Sheryl brought infant Dani past Scecina on their way home to show her off. His delight in retelling South Dakota experiences. Bill was always such a jovial person, bringing light and life to those around him. Joe always appreciated Bill’s sense of humor and optimism. Scecina’s students and his co-workers always valued Bill’s support. His family and he have been vital parts of Scecina, and always will be.
Mrs. Bevan & Dani, You are in my thoughts and prayers! I always enjoyed hearing your stories about Mr. Bevan (and Dani) that you shared with us in class. His love and support for Scecina didn’t go unnoticed & his BIG SMILE was contagious. May God bless & comfort you during this difficult time! Denise (Beaupre) Boring

My condolences to Bill’s family ; I met Bill through a mutual friend who worked with him at Allstate and always enjoyed his visiting with him and his brother Steve at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May or at his seat of honor mid-court at Pacer games ( where he would call out ”Security!” when he saw coming. I will miss his quick witted humor and his smiling face and his 50 years of Pacer stories when we got to visit. – Bob Anderson visited
