He will be fondly remembered by his loved ones and many friends for his great ability to make people feel valued and important.

  15. I don’t know how to start. I met mikey playing youth football in the early 70s probably 74 75. We then became best friends. Mike was a very good athlete and champion wrestler in his weight class. Mike was my hero and I looked up to him. He was tough and I was the little e guy with the big mouth. When we were freshman in high school I transferred to his school to be with my best friend. I then found out how popular my friend really was due to his huge personality. We were roller skating on the weekends and hanging out all the time. We had so much fun together. In August 1982 mike called me and said, ‘hey Weebles me and Randy are having a pool party come on over’. That’s where I met my wife Pam. This was 39 years ago! Mike was the best man at my wedding. Mike taught me how to work hard and also how to play hard. I worked for Dean and Margie in their construction business for years. They were my second parents and for that I am grateful. The whole Watson family treated me like their own. With tears in my eyes I will be praying with love in my heart, Sincerely Jeffery Blake Jenkins

  16. Micheal was a hard working man. I am honored to not only get to know him but his amazing family. Micheal was a gracious host making sure everyone had a great time. I hope to one day make the positive impact on the people around me like he did. Rest In Peace.

  19. Words cannot express our sorrow for your loss. We are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers.

  20. I ran into Mike in the 7th grade rassling as he called it. I wastchwd him go undefeated one year and almost another. Mike is a true competater. I would stay over at his crib and we would move all the furniture to the walls and go at it Until 3 am. We worked our first job washing dishes and then at Welavers restraunt where he became a short order cook . I think Mike’s uniqueness is what made him stand out and be liked and loved by all. Played football together at school and pick up games at Belzer on the weekend . When Mike and Chris stopped by to announce their wedding plans. I was so happy that he found his true friend till the end as our vows say. I lift my glass to the crazy white boy.

  21. Mike was such an entertainer and life of the party! My last memory with him was this past summer. Mike had just fixed the mule that Me, Jenna, and Kristin used to always ride on when we were younger. Mike came down the pool offering to take people on rides (which he had been doing all day lol) and I volunteered to go for a ride like the big kid I will always be. We got on the mule and he could NOT wait to take me on the new “path” his neighbor had created in his backyard. Mike was literally driving so crazy! Jumping tree limbs, cutting corners, etc anything to make me laugh on the ride. The more I laughed and bounced around in the mule the crazier he drove lol he LOVED to make people laugh and he absolutely loved to tell stories. I will miss so many summers spent at Mikes pool, his boat, and Mikes energy. RIP! 🙂

  22. What an awesome guy. I met Mike a few years back at Lake Monroe. We just hit it off like two old friends. I’m sure he would have given me the shirt off his back. I just remember laughing and telling stories back and forth. The lake won’t be the same without you Mike. Rest In Peace my brother.

  23. I spent many amazing days and nights at the Watson house growing up. He and his family even let me stay in their basement for a summer after my freshman year of college with Greg. I will always remember him for his fun-loving spirit, generosity, and the way he inspired me to improve my own work ethic by his example. He means a lot to me, and he was a great man.

  24. I love your memory because his dad Dean did exactly the same crazy moves on that same Mule (I believe). He was a lot like his dad. I will miss him and his fun for life! Thanks for sharing. Kristi Gillin (cousin)

  25. Love all of you Watsons! One of my favorite memories was when Jenna and Kristin visited me in Cali ~2012, when I first moved out here, and Mike and Chris came along to protect their girls! Haha. Good parents! Mike, you’ll forever be missed and we were all blessed to have you as a positive influence in our lives. I’ll always remember the positive energy you brought into any situation. RIP

The sky rains like a chorus of angels weeping for our fallen brethren.

  26. Mike and his family have been such a big part of our life. The memories surround us at this time and are so precious to us. To witness his strong faith in the Lord and the impact his sharing made in others life will go on. Our love to Chris and his children, mother and brothers. Kelley and Ray Stafford

  27. Hello Watson Family, Margie, Randy, Gary, wife Chris and children. What a horrible time in your lives. My heart goes out to you all. Even though I haven’t had contact with any of you for many years , the memories came flooding back when Jeff called to tell me about Mikey. He was overcome with sadness. What a great kid you raised. I was always fond so of him. They were either at your house or mine. Cheers to the great years you had him and on behalf of Jeff Scott and I, He will be missed. Bobbie (Jenkins) deRuiter
